What can I say...other than I told you so. The Laker-haters were more active this year than in any other season I can remember in the past. Even when their own teams were out of the playoff race before the All-Star break, they latched on to other teams/players in the hopes that maybe they could stop the Lakers. Well, they didn't and now we have back-to-back championships to celebrate.
There will definitely be a lot of changes in the off-season. I think Sasha will be re-signed after showing some progress in the playoffs. He may finally be ready to be the 3-point shooter we've been expecting for some time. Farmar, Adam Mo and probably Josh Powell too should all be gone.
My dude DJ needs to stick around for a chance at a 3peat.
To all the haters and doubters...
eh. clippers w/lebron got the title on lock in 2011.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be a bad idea to get rid of shannon brown and luke walton as well. shannon brown is exciting off the bench and he's a high flyer but all he can do is dunk.
ReplyDeleteShannon showed a lot of improvement this year. No reason to think he can't continue to develop his jumper and work on his D. I don't think the Lakers are prepared to offer him a huge contract or anything though so he may end up leaving.
ReplyDeletehaha the laker haters this year were on that extreme hate, probably becuz they thought the celtics had another title in them and there teams had been out, but the mamba wasnt havin it. Shannon has that player option, but im hopin he stays, farmar can bounce if he wants, and we need to reup fisher for another year at least
