Garcia y Vega Review

I'll keep this review pretty short. Similar to a dutch, the vegas have an outer leaf and can be rolled the same way by unwrapping the outer leaf, rolling the inner paper, then re-rolling with the outer leaf. It burned pretty even and slow but the taste just wasn't there in my opinion. In the event you can't find dutch masters these aren't bad substitutes.

Dutch Masters now makes cigarillos combining the taste, freshness and slow-burning nature of a dutch with the size of a swisher. Where as a regular dutch you would usually tear off some of the excess paper these cigarillos need no doctoring.

Grape dutches>grape swishers, as the grape flavor isn't as strong/artificial tasting

It's Been a Long Time...

It's beginning to look like the "super-post" from St. Louis is on Detox status and will never be seen by the public. As far as things here in L.A. it's definitely slowed down a bit with people starting to go back to school. I've been forced to roll solo on a few occasions like the other night when i was fiending for some Ethiopian food at Awash but didn't have the 5+ people to roll in there deep like usual. Instead I stopped by to grab some food to-go and they handled their business as usual.

Of course it wouldn't be Awash without some trees.

While I'm confident in my blunt rolling proficiency, the occasional mishap does occur, like this little tear below trying to tell me the blunt was too fat.

Not an issue though, as some quick surgery remedies the problem.

On the music side Beanie Sigel's new album, Broad Street Bully, will be bought based solely off this new track.

Once again it's been a busy weekend and week kinda, but I have finally got my new internet set up at my new crib in san diego and had a little to post about...

Norris went back to the STL on saturday but prior to his departure he rolled an excellent and very healthy FAT game.

That night be and the big homie Patrick went 7-0 in some pong, but as pat would say, "strokin some cup." pause. This video was from after the massacre, but another slaying took place in arm wrestling. shouts out to big Vinny...peep game lol.

For anyone wandering why Vado is on damn near every track I think Cam is really trying to get him some buzz so what better way then to feature him heavily on what's sure to be a talked about mixtape. I've known DJ Steve1der for the last 7 or 8 years and have been witness to his constant grind to perfect his craft. Within the last year he's been doing video mixes with 2 other DJ's which led to their monthly Sure/Shot party at Winston's bar. He's been working on a project based off of DJ Jazzy Jeff's "My Fave" Remixes, putting together a video mix to go along with the music, or as 1der puts it "a mixtape but with visuals". The video mix should be completed soon but in the meantime here's two videos from his project.

In Search of Bigfoot

It's come to my attention that there is extremely rare footage of none other than Big Rus rolling up a blunt. For those who have no idea who that is and haven't had the privilege of meeting him, let's just say video evidence of his hands in contact with a blunt is like catching a glimpse of Bigfoot or the Lochness Monster. Supposedly TMZ wanted to purchase this video but was told it wasn't for sale at the time. In addition, the video also features a Requasen freestyle and play-by-play commentary from The Sheriff.

The problem is a certain person in the video doesn't want it put on the blog...how selfish to deny all of our readers a chance to watch it, right? So drop a comment and let him know that you want to see the video and hopefully it will make it's way onto the blog.

So I arrived home from Palm Springs earlier today around 2:30 and I am tired as shit. We didnt do much of anything there due to lack of people and having other obligations or just being on snitch mode. I have been basically living outta my suitcase for the last week, going back and fourth to san diego and what not, so its very nice to be home. Here are a few pics from last week in san diego..

On friday night I was chillin at my homie Mike's crib watching supertroopers and drinking some 40s; and his girlfriend, we call her MB for Momma Bear, wanted to be showcased as a special guest on our site and her "attractive" ankles. Straight Outta Slauson

If you don't know, now you know...

Nipsey is that dude.

Aside from Blu and Dom Kennedy, Nipsey is one of the only other rappers who, in my ears, is holding down the West Coast right now. Where Blu and Dom have their own distinct sounds as far as their flow and production, Nipsey is eerily reminiscent of Snoop, who when he was at his peak was the face of West Coast rap.

Here's a short interview about his transition from holding down the corner as a youngster to visualizing, recording and promoting his mixtape series Bullets Ain't Got No Name Vol. 1-3.

Nahhhhhh, No Thank You
