4/20 Recap
Unlucky for me 4/20 landed on a Tuesday this year...Tuesday is my longest day of class, 9:30am-5pm, but that didn't stop me from celebrating in full effect!
I woke up early to wake & bake and felt like a little kid on Christmas morning.
Chiefed one j at the crib before I shook and then blazed the second while driving to school! ALLLLREADY
So after I dipped from class a little early, I got home and rolled up these four fat hoes. You cant tell from the pic but they were ALL at least .6 and had me right for the rest of the day!
Sorry for the very few pics but my cam died on me halfway thru my day and needless to say I was too lazy(faded) to do anything about it.
Hope all our followers had a enjoyable and safe 4/20!

NBA Playoff Preview
EASTERN CONFERENCE
(1) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (8) Chicago Bulls
I wonder if Cleveland is going to burn up the playoffs to get to the conference finals like last year or if their approach is going to be more laid back and focused on the big fish. Either way 23 is coming out of Cleveland’s locker room and not the other. Just not seeing how the trades of Tyrus and John Salmons are going to help the Bulls in this series. PICK- CAVALIERS (4)
(2) Orlando Magic vs. (7) Charlotte Bobcats
Nothing to see here. People love the Bobcats and Skip Bayless kept saying they’d take out Cleveland in round one. Well, the Magic are the hottest team since the all star break and VC has found his rhythm in their offense. Too deep, too many shooters and too much defense for Gerald and Co. PICK- MAGIC (5)
(3) Atlanta Hawks vs. (6) Milwaukee Bucks
Seriously disappointed Andrew Bogut hurt his damn arm because the acquisition of Salmons has been crack rock. While I don’t think they could have won, they could have really annoyed the Hawks into a 6 or 7 game series. PICK- HAWKS (5)
(4) Boston Celtics vs. (5) Miami Heat
7 games series, that simple. Not because Miami is good but because Boston is old, tired and garbage. I really feel bad for D. Wade because to me, he is a Caron Butler (another scorer) away from toppling a team like Boston who has had its struggles defensively. If you know anything about Boston, their championship run in '08 centered around defense. For Boston to win Rondo has to play spectacular basketball. Ray Allen will continue to be Ray Allen, but Paul Pierce pulling 2008 heroics is out of the question. I still think the fire power coming off the bench is too much for a Miami team that only features Dwayne Wade and inconsistent play from Beasley and J.O. PICK- CELTICS (7)
WESTERN SEMIS
(1) Los Angeles Lakers vs. (4) Denver Nuggets
Sucks because everybody wanted this to be a conference finals rematch. I don’t see Denver putting out defensively like they did last year, but they still match up well defensively with the Lakers. Let’s talk eyeball test here – not stats. Aaron Afflalo gets into Kobe’s ass when he guards him and forces him into some funky situations. Two keys to this series and why the Lakers will win it...one, they either will have found a way to supplement Derek Fisher by last series or they will in this series and two, Andrew Bynum will be in the lineup at some point. What this does is give Lamar minutes with the bench which make the Lakers bench more deadly because it has been less than stellar in Andrew’s absence. There is no answer for Pau on the block and I think this series will force the Lakers to click defensively and execute. PICK- LAKERS (6)
(2) Dallas Mavericks vs. (3) Phoenix Suns
Phoenix doesn’t have the fire power, and before someone says they do, running an uptempo offense does not mean you have fire power. Just ask Nelly out in Golden State. What I appreciate is that they are more versatile than in years past and will attempt to defend you. However, I think Dallas just has too much on the offensive end for Phoenix to handle and they are going to present problems for them in the paint. I’m not really expecting big things from Amare. Strike me down lord please if he does anything really spectacular stats wise. It boils down to the fact that the Suns don’t really matchup well with Dallas as there are mismatches all over the floor. Can't forget Shawn Marion who has an axe to grind…yea…not good for Phoenix. MAVERICKS (5)
(1) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (4) Boston Celtics
If there is one thing these teams showed me the last time they played it was that Cleveland can turn it up on Boston whenever they feel like it. The season series was split, but remember Boston beat them in the 1st game of the year when Cleveland hadn’t gelled yet and just 2 weeks ago without Shaq and with the game being more important to Boston (AND IN BOSTON!). What might go unsaid is how the Cavs dominated them in the middle two games and in the 4th of their last loss. They don’t stand an ice cube’s chance in hell against Cleveland. Not one favorable matchup on the floor. CAVALIERS (5)
(2) Orlando Magic vs. (3) Atlanta Hawks
Easily a 7 game series. All this Magic talk about how they made it to the finals etc. etc. Let me explain something fundamentally to you F-words. The Magic beat a Boston team last year in 7 games that didn’t have Kevin Garnett and when they got to the conference finals, they weren’t the 2nd best team in the league, not the best in their conference, not elite…they simply matched up perfectly with Cleveland. Do you get it?...It means if you have two 6’10” guys being guarded by 6’3” and 6’6” guys and a beast in the MIDDLE…you really just matchup well. The addition of Vince Carter takes that away a little bit but adds another element…unadulterated scoring. The Hawks are athletic and solid defensively at the wing position so while I see Carter going off, I don’t see Matt Barnes or Mikael Pietrus having a field day, especially with no real creator like Turkoglu. PICK- MAGIC (7)
Western Conference Finals
(1) Los Angeles Lakers vs. (2) Dallas Mavericks
I don’t think you can talk about these two teams, what their strengths and weaknesses are, and believe you are going to come to a concrete decision about who is going to win this series. So here is something I see going in the Lakers' favor this series: the fact that they have Ron Artest and Lamar Odom. If Phil is smart he takes a page out of Nelly’s book and gives the Mavs a different defensive look every so often – Ron is a bully and Lamar has the length. I think the effort we are going to see defensively from the Lakers is going to be exciting and I’m really excited to see if Shannon and Farmar can agitate Jason Kidd. Lastly, well its a funny thing the other key to this series, and its funny because I didn’t mention it in the 1st two series because I didn’t think I had to and personally because I don’t think it’ll dominate those two series. But the Lakers they got this dude…ummm…forgot his name…yea…used to be number 8…now its 24…he’s on a mission…and I think he’s really enjoying the LeBron and Durant talk...just when you think he’s not there. PICK- LAKERS (6/7)
Eastern Conference Finals
(1) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (2) Orlando Magic
I’ve said it from the beginning and I’ll say it again…HEDO TURKOGLU…he was the pg, the heart and the glue and he would have taken the last shot for that Magic team last year if Stan didn’t have a million plays. My point is Hedo Turkoglu brings the matchup problems for Cleveland and helps set the Magic up. The offense last year was simple - drive and kick. Carter brings an unstoppable scorer to the lineup but what you were hoping for as the Magic was that Jameer Nelson could recognize the tools he has, settle down, read the floor better and get everybody going – Barnes, Pietrus, Reddick. This plays into Cleveland’s hands. The Magic have a bench and outside shooters but they don’t have the type of team that will make Cleveland have to respect the drive and have Barnes, Pietrus and Reddick killing them. On top of that, Dwight was a terror on the inside last year without a single offensive move. The addition of Candace’s brother is instrumental. Parker is a pro’s pro, a knock down shooter who defends well. Let’s not forget LeBron is coming for blood. PICK- CAVALIERS (6)
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Los Angeles Lakers
This is what I see happening here and just to be honest this happened in the regular season. The Lakers are going to get 08 Celtic'd. The Cavs will dominate the paint on the defensive end and the offensive rebounds that Lamar and Pau love to eat on will be non- existent. Trust me, with big daddy dirt pile (Shaq) down there and Hickson banging like the Gs that they are this will happen. The game is going to really slow down in the finals and will probably be more boring than we think. Kobe’s scoring can’t compensate for how well Cleveland matches up with them defensively. This avenue of defense, low scoring, grinding out games built the Cavs. I see Mo Williams and Delonte having a big finals, I see a paint too congested for the Lakers with no outside shooting, I see a tired Kobe needing stellar play from Pau that he wont get. We'll see Lamar, Kobe, Ron, Luke and the whole 9 thrown at LeBron but I don't see him being stopped. PICK- Cavaliers (6)/FINALS MVP- LeBron

Couple dope tracks
Anyways, here are two new tracks I have been bumping heavy lately...
Shyne-Messiah
Say what you will about Shyne Po and his incarceration but I believe he has always put out dope music; from Bad Boyz feat. Barrington Levy to Diamond and Mac 10s. I am hoping he makes a good comeback coming home from his bid.
The Game-It Must Be Me
There isn't much I can say about The Game considering his albums have gone from great-worse each piece of work he puts out but one thing is I will show support for him since he is a Los Angeles cat. After hearing "Shake," his first "single" off his upcoming album I wasn't too impressed nor did I want to hear the rest of the album. But after hearing this track I believe he can put together a solid piece of work as he has done his last three albums.
enjoy

The 2010 MLB Season is Ready to Begin!
5. San Diego Padres– Why did you trade Peavy? The farm system is weak, the lineup is garbage, not strong up the center and I just don’t see where they are going to be able to contend for anything in the near future. Adrian Gonzalez will be gone by the end of the year. I suggest young arms so they can have something to build on moving forward.
NL Central
1. St. Louis Cardinals– Skip Bayless told me they were worse than last year. I see them taking this division going away. Carpenter won a lot of games last year but his stuff was nowhere near the 2005 Cy Young award winning Carpenter, as seen in Game 1 vs. the boys in blue. With an entire offseason to return to form he and Wainwright should dominate this division. Look out for Brad big belly Penny with something to prove as well. If the Cubs fold like bad hands in poker there could easily be a 10-15 game distance between the Cards and Cubs.
2. Chicago Cubs– The names Shay Cotton, Earl Manigault, Hank Geathers, Raymond Lewis and Evan Burns come to mind – the greatest to never do it. It’s simple. They have the talent to make it to the World Series but I’m not betting on them to win anything because they are classic underachievers.
3. Milwaukee Brewers– Peace to Randy Wolf. Failing to see the bright spots outside of Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun. I can see them scrapping to a 3rd place finish but not much more. Barely .500.
4. Houston Astros– Love Roy Oswalt and Lance Berkman but I wish I could see them play for other teams….not seeing an over .500 finish.
5. Cincinnati Reds– Aaron Harang is not a number one. Would love to see him come in as a #4 or to round out somebody’s rotation. With Edinson out because of Tommy John surgery, I just don’t see where the fire power is going to come from in any aspect of their team. Brandon Phillips is a thug and so is Orlando Cabrera, but no power, no pitching, no pen=no good.
6. Pittsburgh Pirates - …………
NL East
1. Philadelphia Phillies– Strong rotation….great lineup….good bullpen…decent depth….strong up the center….World Series…period.
2. Atlanta Braves– I’m saying 3rd best rotation in the NL behind the Phillies and Giants. Possible rookie of the year Brian Heyward being seen as the new Pujols or Griffey. Chipper. McCann. And what do ya know…Troy Glaus at 1st. Wild Card winners.
3. New York Mets– This team makes me uncomfortable….sorry…even the addition of Jason Bay can't make me like the lack of strength after Johan and Scary Mathews in center....high expectations for their fans…fail output.
4. Florida Marlins– Not enough fire power in the rotation, bullpen or lineup. Will not lie down but a last place finish is on the way.
5. Washington Nationals– Hate to speak with a forked tongue. I did put all my hope into Blake Griffin. However, any team putting their hopes and dreams on a rookie must be trolling or looking for a last place finish. You do like the additions of Jason Marquis and you hold out hope for Wang to make a positive impact. You like Adam Dunn, Adam Kennedy and Ryan Zimmerman to help play spoiler for teams late in the season but not to do anything more than finish in last place.
AL West
1. Seattle Mariners– I like Felix and Cliff here and I think they can help the young arms in this rotation. I like the move for Milton Bradley back to a division he destroyed. The only person as consistent as Ichirio is, well, Ichiro (not even Jeter, Yankee cockslobbers) – the guy's had 200+ hits every season in the MLB. You pull for Griffey and as a throw in, you pull for Matt Tuiasosopo, brother of Washingston standout QB and Raiders ex-QB Marques Tuiasosopo.
2. Texas Rangers- “Only thing whiter dog is Brooke Shields”…too soon?.... *tries to imagine Tex takin that 8-140 mil contract that the Rangers offered him years back*….whew…what a dynamite lineup they would have had. Michael Young is always the most underrated player in baseball to me. If Cruz can eliminate some of the holes in his swing, then they have enough between Kinsler, Vlad and Josh Hammy to hit their way into contention. Even if their manager is a fiend.
3. Anaheim Angels– I think Artie went with the idea of subtraction by subtraction. No Vlad. No Chone. No Lackey. Scot Shields is a shell of his former self….who can't wait to see Torii Hunter, Bobby Abreu and Hideki Matsui carry the Angels this year??????*doesn’t raise hand*
4. Oakland Athletics– Ben Sheets looks horrible. LOL at Coco Crisp. Weak rotation. Weak lineup. Lots of young arms and you know how Oakland gets with young arms. I can see possible playoff runs in the future followed by the inevitable dismantling of the team.
AL Central
1. Detroit Tigers– Two words. Joe Nathan….what F’words. You like Verlander and Porcello and what you really do is hope. Things you hope for– Bonderman, Dontrelle and Magglio to return to 2007 Mags (roids?) Miguel should contend for the MVP again and Brandon Inge is great at 3rd base.
2. Minnesota Twins– Someone asked me what I thought of Russel Martin a few weeks ago. I replied, "Joe Mauer 8 years 184 million"…he’ll hit .350 again….Morneau should get back into the 300s and smack 100 RBIs…I like the O-dogg still *stares at Ned*. If they can weather the loss of Nathan, they can actually win the division. Until then, I’m rollin with the Detwat Tigers.
3. Chicago White Sox– You like Peavy and you like Buerhle. You like the pen and Bubba. You even like cheap steals Juan Pierre and Alex Rios and how they have the potential to return to form. You don’t like the competitiveness of the division, Andruw Jones at DH, the lack of power in the lineup or just the general likelihood that the team will be inconsistent and go through droughts.
4. Cleveland Indians– 2 years ago they beat the Yankees 3-1 in the playoffs with Cliff and C.C. Wow. Phail/10. At least they still have Fausto Carmona?...yikes…problematic…
5. Kansas City Royals– Kansas City Loyals….loyal to what you ask? Loyal to last place. Not much outside of Zach Greinke who had a stellar season last year, but who doesn’t expect him to be in a big market at some point in the future?
AL East
1. New York Yankees– Strong rotation.Strong Bullpen.Decent up the center– some say Granderson is losing his range, though I’m not convinced. Btw, hes a great addition to the squad if you didn’t know. If the pitching isn’t enough, they can always hit themselves into championship contention. A-Rod 35-120-.300. Jeter– 200 hits again and finally gets the MVP he has deserved for years.
2. Tampa Rays– Never understood the Kazmir move. More subtraction by subtraction. But decent starting pitching with Shields and Garza. I’m expecting 15+ wins from D. Price. The lineup is ridiculous with BJ, Crawford, Pena and Burrell. I’m expecting Longoria to contend for MVP. Think this team will have the look of the '08 Rays who were feisty, pitched well and had a little bit of swagger.
3. Boston Red Sox– If I hate one team more than the Yankees, it’s their rival. Their collective dick is not a mechanical bull and analyst, you shouldn’t be a drunk white girl. With that said, A a dynamite rotation with Beckett, Lester and the newly acquired Lackey. The additions of Beltre, Cameron and Scutaro may prove to be problematic. Dice-K and Pappel-Bond are overrated pieces of shit and I can see this highly overpaid team underachieving like no tomorrow. Special lulz to David Ortiz and Victor Martinez’s defense.
4. Toronto Blue Jays– No Roy…not sure why they are even relevant. At least they aren’t Baltimore?
5. Baltimore Orioles– Lulz at Cesar Izzy, the former Dodger for making it this long without a bat. Mmmm…did anyone know Miguel Tejada went back to playing 3rd base for the Orioles? Outside of Andrew Jones in center a snore-fest and a last place finish.
