Broad Street Bully has an issue with Hov/Ghostface Stories

Sigel goes in for 7 minutes covering some past and current issues he has with Jigga Man, most notably him not visiting Sigel in jail, not bailing him out and calling the 5-0 on him at a show (which if true is grimier than grimey).

And on the eve of Halloween a quick ghost story from Ghostface.

"I didn't kill them. I didn't even rap it like them. I killed they song though. So Jay-z, I'm bout to kill your song."

Many people have been questioning what Lil Wayne has been doing musically for the past 4 years...me being a big fan of wayne prior to him blowing up and going mainstream will always appreciate when the old wayne appears, NO AUTOTUNE, NO ROCK, NO CEILINGS lol, just him rapping.
This mixtape right here...the old wayne has emerged. People are always expecting artists to go back and make hits like they do in the past, e.g. blueprint 3 sounded nothing like the blueprint but thats what everyone wanted right, another blueprint? I'm not saying this is his best piece of work or better than Dedication 1, or Dedication 2, The Suffix or even The Drought 3 but its WAY better than the current wayne everyone has been listening to and d-riding!
Take this for what it is...

Lil Wayne-No Ceilings

01. Swag Surfin’
02. Ice Cream Paint Job
03. D.O.A.
04. Interlude
05. Wasted
06. Watch My Shoes
07. Break Up (Ft. Spark Dawg & Gudda Gudda)
08. Banned From TV
09. Throw It In The Bag
10. I Think I Love Her (Ft. Tyga & Shanell)
11. Interlude 2 (Ft. Shanell)
12. Wetter
13. I’m Good (Ft. Lucci Lou)
14. Make Her Say (Ft. Jae Millz)
15. Run This Town
16. I Gotta Feeling
17. Outro

Just a little behind the scenes video of Wayne prior to the mixtape dropping.

Them rings and things...

Timely post from Norris last night as the Lakers took care of business against the lowly Clippers. You know I had to put something in the air in honor of D J Mbenga picking up his championship ring, and what better to put up than a strawberry dutch.

Finally...buying a dutch doesn't involve a drive to L.A. anymore

Repeat!

Tonight the Lakers continue their domination, bound to destroy Crackman's Clippers.

Heres a lil personal I rolled up to watch the first couple games of the NBA season.

And I made this cause I knew I'd be hungry.

I got a pick for the Cripple Crackman too,by the joker ey?

Smooth Customer/NBA Preview

It's embarrassing enough when you go to give someone a pound and they put out their hand, or vice versa, but not too many people can play it off as smoothly as Phil. Kobe didn't even notice Phil's attempt but Phil quickly saved face with the ol' knuckles to the cheek move (@ 0:16).

Here's my quick NBA preview as far as where I see the teams finishing at the end of the regular season by conference:

Western Conference

1. Los Angeles Lakers- No surprise here, the Championship is theirs to lose this year
2. San Antonio Spurs- This of course is assuming Duncan, Parker and Ginobili can stay healthy, but if they do they have a great bench to be a threat deep in the playoffs
3. Denver Nuggets- Great playoff run last year, it'll be interesting to see if George Karl can keep the team focused and on the same page to make a similar run again this year.
4. Portland Trailblazers- I still can't figure out the Andre Miller signing or giving LaMarcus Aldridge such a huge contract extension, but the Blazers have all the talent to be an elite team in the West this year.
5. Dallas Mavericks- Adding Shawn Marion adds some athleticism to the Mavs and an additional alley-oop target for Jason Kidd.
6. Utah Jazz- Pretty much the same team as last year but they'll start the season without Kyle Korver, but look for Deron Williams to have an MVP-worthy year.
7. Houston Rockets- To quote Cam'Ron, "No Yao Ming....no T-Mac" and while I don't see the trio of Ariza/Battier/Scola leading them to a top spot they're still good enough to make the playoffs while possibly getting McGrady back in time to add another offensive threat.
8. Phoenix Suns- Without Shaq to slow the offense down look for the Suns to return to their old ways of high-scoring, fast-paced basketball with a healthy Amare Stoudemire, though how long that will last remains a question.
9. New Orleans Hornets- They have a great PG in Chris Paul and a defensive stopper in the middle in Emeka Okafor, but I'm just not sold on this team making the playoffs.
10. Oklahoma City Thunder- They still might be one more year away from being a legitimately respected team but I like them to make major improvements this year on the back of potential scoring champion (and MVP candidate) Kevin Durant.
11. Los Angeles Clippers- Would've liked to put them higher but with Blake out I expect them to play like the same Clippers that just missed 20 wins last year.
12. Golden State Warriors- They'll be fun to watch with Anthony Randolph and Stephen Curry but will end up as a lottery team.
13. Memphis Grizzlies- On paper the potential lineup of OJ Mayo, AI, Rudy Gay, Z-Bo and Marc Gasol with Hasheem Thabeet coming off the bench looks good, but then again this is the same team who gave away Pau Gasol for practically nothing only to trade for Zach Randolph and pay him the same money.
14. Minnesota Timberwolves- I like Kevin Love and Al Jefferson at the 4 and 5 but I'm not sold on anybody else although rookie Jonny Flynn should have a big first year.
15. Sacramento Kings- They were bad last year and they'll be bad again this year, but they have some young, talented players to build around.

Eastern Conference

1. Orlando Magic- Adding Matt Barnes, Brandon Bass and Vince Carter make losing Hedo Turkoglu a non-issue, not to mention Dwight Howard got his first taste of the finals and is hungry for more.
2. Cleveland Cavaliers- Is LeBron staying or leaving? Either way look for him to continue to dominate the league and lead the Cavs to a deep playoff run.
3. Boston Celtics- Rasheed Wallace is 35, Ray Allen is 34, KG is 33 and Paul Pierce is 32. Yes they're still talented enough to beat up on most of the league but how much will they have left in the tank when they go up against the other elite teams? Plus they'll be without Glen "Big Gay Baby" Davis for at least 8 weeks to start the season.
4. Atlanta Hawks- They added another scored in Jamal Crawford and a big man in Joe Smith but there's still a large gap between the Hawks and the top 3 teams in the conference.
5. Chicago Bulls- After a tough loss to the Celtics in a series they very well could've won, look for the Bulls and Derrick Rose to build on that experience and get revenge should they meet the Celtics again in the playoffs.
6. Miami Heat- In what could be his last season in Miami, Dwyane Wade is going to need another solid season from Jermaine O'Neal (unlikely I know) and Mike Beasley to step it up, assuming he's first figured out his personal issues.
7. Philadelphia 76ers- After 2 horrendous seasons in Philly Elton Brand is due to break that trend and put up solid numbers for a team that is still young but extremely talented and fast.
8. Washington Wizards- IF...IF their core of Arenas, Butler and Jamison can have one healthy season together they can make some major noise come playoffs time.
9. Toronto Raptors- Bosh may be gone by midseason if they start slow and Turkoglu could get exposed defensively without Dwight Howard behind him, but rookie DeMar DeRozan should be able to help them fight for the 8 spot, that is if Bosh is still around by then.
10. Detroit Pistons- When your centers are Kwame Brown, Chris Wilcox and Ben Wallace it's hard to have high expectations, not to mention your biggest free agent signing, Ben Gordon, plays the same position as Ronald Hamilton who had issues last season with his minutes.
11. Indiana Pacers- They missed the playoffs by only 3 games last year and kept the team pretty much intact. Expect another monster season from Danny Granger.
12. New Jersey Nets- It's kind of depressing when the biggest story regarding your team on the eve of the season opener is a Russian billionaire.
13. Charlotte Bobcats- The team that should've signed AI (in need of a scorer and Larry Brown coached Iverson in Philly) didn't and can look forward to another lottery pick.
14. Milwaukee Bucks- Even with Michael Redd returning the Bucks are still going to be bad, although the development of rookie Brandon Jennings offers something for fans to look forward to.
15. New York Knicks- It seems like a lot of Knicks fans are already dismissing the season and looking forward to next summer's free agency....at least they have the Yanks to root for.

Clipse Feat. Cam'Ron- Popular Demand (Popeye's)

No description necessary...

Good Music

Song is called Can You Hear Me from Astonish out of Chicago. This is the first track of his I've heard so I don't know too much about him, but this joint right here really caught my ear. Not some instant classic shit by any means, but the combination of the smooth beat, Astonish's effortless flow and a cool video make it a song worth checking out.

"I'm tired of hearing gangsta shit, if that's what's sellin' then you sellin' out, you ain't even really pull them weapons out/stick to the script for you hit with a clip, and I don't care how many bitches you can fit in your whip"

Good Looks Obama

New Medical Marijuana Policy Issued By White House

WASHINGTON - The Obama administration will not seek to arrest medical marijuana users and suppliers as long as they conform to state laws, under new policy guidelines to be sent to federal prosecutors Monday.

Two Justice Department officials described the new policy to The Associated Press, saying prosecutors will be told it is not a good use of their time to arrest people who use or provide medical marijuana in strict compliance with state laws.

The new policy is a significant departure from the Bush administration, which insisted it would continue to enforce federal anti-pot laws regardless of state codes.

Fourteen states allow some use of marijuana for medical purposes: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington.

California is unique among those for the presence of dispensaries - businesses that sell marijuana and even advertise their services.

Attorney General Eric Holder said in March that he wanted federal law enforcement officials to pursue those who violate both federal and state law, but it has not been clear how that goal would be put into practice.

A 3-page memo spelling out the policy is expected to be sent today to federal prosecutors in the 14 states, and also to top officials at the FBI and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

The memo, the officials said, emphasizes that prosecutors have wide discretion in choosing which cases to pursue, and says it is not a good use of federal manpower to prosecute those who are without a doubt in compliance with state law.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the legal guidance before it is issued.

At the same time, the officials said, the government will still prosecute those who use medical marijuana as a cover for other illegal activity. The memo particularly warns that some suspects may hide old-fashioned drug dealing or other crimes behind a medical marijuana business.

In particular, the memo urges prosecutors to pursue marijuana cases which involve violence, the illegal use of firearms, selling pot to minors, money laundering or other crimes.

And while the policy memo describes a change in priorities away from prosecuting medical marijuana cases, it does not rule out the possibility that the federal government could still prosecute someone whose activities are allowed under state law.

The memo, officials said, is designed to give a sense of prosecutorial priorities to U.S. Attorneys in the states that allow medical marijuana. It notes that pot sales in the United States are the largest source of money for violent Mexican drug cartels, but adds that federal law enforcement agencies have limited resources.

Medical marijuana advocates have been anxious to see exactly how the administration would implement candidate Barack Obama's repeated promises to change the policy in situations in which state laws allow the use of medical marijuana.

Shortly after Obama took office, DEA agents raided four dispensaries in Los Angeles, prompting confusion about the government's plans.

In related news, Oakland airport is the only airport that has an official policy allowing medical marijuana patients to bring weed with them on the plane. Read the article here

"My cocaine flow solidified, I spit crack now"

Cormega gets nowhere near the acclaim he deserves and still continues to make quality music.
This track (radio rip) is off of his new album Born and Raised which, after a quick listen, sounds like one of the best releases of the year.
It doesn't hurt that he enlisted DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Havoc, Nottz, Large Professor and others to create the backdrop for his vivid raps.

Blunt Rolling Tip #2

Now this is just my preference or maybe it's superstition but I ALWAYS pick the blunt in the middle when I crack a new pack of blunts. I just think the middle blunt is and will always be the freshest being surrounded by the others in the pack.
Also I ALWAYS, ALWAYS leave the wrapper on the actual PACK of blunts(see the arrow).

Whatever you about to discover, WE OFF THAT

All I can say is this ankle shit has been pretty lousy but also a good learning experience for me. Its kinda put into perspective of how for granted I took walking on my own two feet and just doing everyday activities with ease. But anyways, smoking blunts and taking vicodins hasnt so bad after all lol. Here is a pic for you guys...

Blunt Rolling Tip #1: Your blunt will smoke and burn nicely when your seam is "semi" straight and parallel. (Look for more BRT's in future posts)
As you can see, mine isnt perfectly straight but if your shit is looking like the Rocky Mountains it isnt gonna burn well and your L will be an L.

AND some food for thought...literally. Prolly one of the best faded foods I have ever eaten; go cop them at Trader Joes.
